C3 On the Move!

By Mark Scott

Some encouraging words from Mark Wigley: “I feel blessed to be a part of a church where faith is so alive. I look how folks rise to the occasion when given the opportunity to minister at C3, it has been unbelievable to me at times. I think of the folks that help with Elizabeth House, sponsor children through Compassion International, fill shoe boxes for needy children in the Ukraine, donate to help children come to the U.S. and have heart operations, minister to people in India, the list goes on. Then I look at how our folks have rallied around helping in the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Katrina. We have taken 5 trips and had 34 people go at least once to help. We have had a small part in repairing twelve houses and one church and through the food and supplies that have been donated God has used us to bless countless families. Over $30,000 has been given and many folks have prayed for those who have gone to do the work. When Katrina hit almost two years ago it would have been so easy to have had a prayer meeting, taken an offering and mail a check with a note saying, “God bless you, we wish you well, keep warm and well fed”. But instead our folks at C3 have made a real difference by showing the true love of God to hurting people. I feel so blessed to be a part of what God is doing through His people at C3. To God Be The Glory!” — Mark
